Take Your Business to the Next Level

Business coaching for owners who are ready to take back their time and make more money.

Our revenues went from around $300K - $400K per year to over $3 million per year.

One of John's innovative approaches is his compounding effect system for calculating leads to conversions and repeat buyers.

After implementing this system, we now run almost completely on repeat business - including a very large ongoing contract that we landed in part due to John's advice during contract negotiation.

~ Quentin Miller, Vanguard Painting Ltd.

My staff used to come to me for every little thing - now they run the place without me

I used to be that everything that happened in my business, somebody had to ask me a question. I was being harangued by people morning, noon and night.

Now I have time to spend with my family and get to the gym.

My plant is more productive, my employees are happier and the business is growing and profitable.

~ Fred Lyhne, Simalex Die Casting

After paying ourselves, we'll have a quarter million in profit - maybe even more.

We're making more money than we've ever made before.

Without a doubt, our main issue was that we weren't charging properly. John was the only person who identified the problem - and fixing this literally turned the company around.

Now, our margins are great and we're on pace for record profitability this year.

~ Jeff Boyer, Mountain West Roofing

Is this you?

Most owners start with a dream.

A business that lets them call the shots, make as much money as they want, and have the time freedom to enjoy it.

Instead, they hit the Success Plateau

"I can't take time off. The place would fall apart without me."

You're busy all the time, but you're not making any progress. You're making the sales, meeting with customers and suppliers, and constantly at the beck and call of your staff. The business feels disorganized, you're afraid that things are slipping. You seem to always be putting out fires. Vacation? What's that??

"I can't seem to hire the right people. They do poor quality work - or they quit."

You can't seem to hire the right people. Or they don't stay. Or they only do the bare minimum. Or you can't find anyone who wants to work. Or they need so much supervision that it feels like it might just be easier to do the work yourself.

"I'm not bringing in enough money. I'm working too hard to make so little in return."

Sleepless nights worried about cashflow and making payroll. Maybe some months you don't get paid because everything else comes first. Sales may be up, your accountant might say you're doing great - but no matter how much is coming in, it's never enough.

Congratulations! You've reached the first level of success.

The first level of success leaves business owners trapped working IN their businesses.

You spend part of your time being a worker with a J-O-B in a company with your name on it.

And the other part as a henpecked manager with people constantly coming to you for every little thing.

You probably feel like you're the only air traffic controller in a busy airport - if you take a break to go to the washroom, the planes start crashing.

Ready to escape this trap and take your business to the next level?

Here's what you need to do.

3 Steps to a Next Level Business

Take Your Time Back

You don't expect the CEO of McDonald's to fry your burger. Run your calendar like an owner and free up your time for the creative, leadership, and strategic work that only you can do.

Increase Profitability

Next level owners focus on growth. Increase revenue through better sales and marketing. Read and understand your financials so that you make smarter and more profitable decisions.

Make Your Business Self-Managing

Your job is to lead your company. Get the right people in the right roles. Implement systems so that your business can run without everything having to come through you.

How Coaching Works: The Fast Track Program

1

I don't believe in wasting time. Results from this coaching program begin the moment you commit to it. Here's what we'll do together.

1. Free Up Your Time

Most of the owners I work with feel they are too busy to do the work that needs to be done, so our first order of business is to take control of your calendar and immediately free up 5-7 hours each week so that you can work ON your business instead of just IN it.

2. Put Out the Fires

Next, we'll fix your biggest burning issues. For some owners, it's a cash flow crunch - for others it might be a team deficit. Most owners are facing more than one immediate challenge. Whatever they are, we'll look after them first.

3. Make a Growth Plan

Once all the fires are out and you have some time to work with, it's time to set some next level goals and make a growth plan. Want to double your business? Triple it? 10X it? Let's do it.

The details: Weekly meetings. No locked in agreement.

Weekly Meetings

We will meet every week to review your progress and work through any issues you are experiencing.

My role is to be your sounding board and trusted advisor. You bring your problems, I'll help you solve them.

You can expect good questions, space to explore frustrations and options, experienced outside perspective to help you see what you're not seeing, unwavering support and encouragement, and the accountability that comes from having regular time set aside to the do the important work on your business.

I also have an extensive library of tools and resources that we can draw on.

Our Agreement

I won't work with anyone who isn't actively working on their business and therefore getting a return on their coaching investment. It's a waste of time and money for both of us. I'm just as invested in the relationship as you are.

I don't lock people into long-term contracts. Coaching only works if both parties work - if it's not working out, either one of us can decide to pull the pin.

Your first step is to click the button below to book a call to see if we're a fit.

How to get started

If coaching with me sounds like something you'd like to explore, I invite you to book a confidential 15-minute call so we can each assess whether or not it will be a fit. If it looks like it will be a fit for both of us, we'll schedule a longer complimentary coaching session so that you can experience what coaching is like before you commit to a longer program.
